Sydney quartet The Retreat announced to support The Boat People and Jewel and the Falcon (featuring members of Red Sun Band and Youth Group) on the Sydney and Brisbane leg of their Dance To My Pain Tour.
Throughout the month of November, The Retreat will dish out their pop-laden, jangly Alt-country on a handful of shows across NSW & QLD in support of their debut EP release and The Boat People’s the release of their brand, spanking new double A-side and remix package.
Creating a sensitive approach to rock, an alternate approach to country and an imaginative approach to pop, The Retreat’s sound rattles and rolls with heart-meltingly sweet lyrics over well-placed lead guitar pulses.
Recorded between BJB Studios Sydney and the bands much-loved Shellcove Rd rehearsal space, The Retreat’s debut EP was a direct result of the momentum the band has going from their live shows.
